The Kinderkraft brand manufacturer, 4Kraft Sp. z o. o., is launching a voluntary safety programme and will be accepting a selected, strictly defined batch of Kinderkraft MINK car seats for safety verification.
During a regular quality control, a deviation was discovered which did not meet the high quality standards of the Kinderkraft brand, although it meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04. A defective handle clamping component was discovered. It may affect the child's safety during transport; however, only a fraction of the sold car seats from a limited production batch had this component.
We have not received any information regarding accidents connected to this potentially defective component. To participate in the programme, you must enter the MINK car seat’s batch number at kinderkraft.com/en/info/ and check if it is included in the programme.
The batch number (B) can be found underneath the seat. 4Kraft Sp. z o.o. undertakes to coordinate the process of shipping products for verification and possible repair. The programme is entirely free for users. The only requirement is handing the packed car seat over to a courier.
For the sake of the user's safety, please do not use the car seat without first verifying it. Please refer to the information found in the attachment for a detailed description of the programme. At the same time, we wish to emphasise that user safety and equipment reliability are our priority. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. For further information, please contact our Customer Service Department: email@example.com or read our FAQ – available at kinderkraft.com/en/info/
