I bought this as i have a 7 week old baby and a 1 and a half year old and found most doubles large and heavy but this one is very light not any bigger than a single pram and easy to use, it is also very versitile and i can use it as a single for either of the kids if im out with just one, which means there is no need to have more than 1 pram in the house.

This tandem is brilliant, easy to push , very light on the steering of it. my oldest who goes in the bottom seat is only just two but she is 3ft tall and fits in there great, does not leave a lot of room in the basket tho and that is my only complaint. Being able to have my son lying flat in the pram and facing me is great, it is exactly what i wanted, him in a pram and my daughter at the back part to make the weight better for me, i am only 5ft so finding this pushchair is a god send. i have not put it in the car yet, i know you have to take of the bottom seat, that took me a while to figure out but i got there and with practice im sure i will become a whizz at it. its true there is not a lot of room for the toddler when its in the pram mode but i found i can adjust the foot rest in the pram to make more room for her as my son does not reach the bottom of the pram yet.
Hauck Duett Tandem Stroller - Black

I bought the stroller for my son nearly 3 years of age and my daughter age 16 months. My daughter has no problem in sitting in the top or the bottom seat, however my son finds it a bit restricted as he is slightly taller then the average. The stroller was easy to assemble and is surprising light to push however you may find it if both seats are occupied hard to push on a bit of inclined street, it also requires effort in tilting back an pushing when negotiating the kerbs.
The stroller is good value for money, as I am pregnant with my third child, it just what I need to carry my daughter and the third child.

When we bought this stroller for our 2 years old and 7 months old, we had already a collection of 5 buggies and prams.
We had gone through the nightmare of comparing what was available to us and it seemed that the only choice was a £500+ one. NOT TRUE! The Hauck Duett was a revelation. Extremely affordable, 2 seats both can be reclined. Plenty of head and leg room. Huge storage basket even when the baby is sitting there, and most important the stroller is complete no need to buy extra pieces, no bassinet required as the top seat converts into one and comes with separate lining. You can turn the top seat to face you
The stroller is super light and small compared to all the others of similar style. In other words this is not the cheap alternative to the market leaders, this is better than P&T at 1/3 of the price.

Great pushchair !!

Hi took delivery of the hauck duett this morning and i have to say this is great value for money, i have a child of 18 months and 6 weeks, if you have children of similar ages i would say invest in the car seat for the newborn as there is no room for the carrycot and the toddler, however do not let this put you off buying this pushchair as the pro's definatly outweigh the one con.
The pushchair is very light for a double and believe me i have had a few ( last one was a phil & teds vibe which had to go ,it was awful to steer )this in my opinion is much better in lots of ways at a third of the cost.
The other couple of things i would like to mention are for all you ford focus owners out there with a useless boot THIS DOES FIT and the other thing is you can fold this with the second seat on, not sure many people know this so thought i would let everyone know.
All in all this pushchair is worth every penny and wont break the bank.

Exactly the pushchair I was looking for

This pushchair is fantastic. Its easy to steer and the twins love it. There is still room in the basket to put items in even with my little boy underneath. This is easy to push and goes up most kerbs without the need to tilt. Is slightly heavy to carry but I bought this so that i could get on buses and walk in all shops without struggling with the side by side I had before. Brilliant.
