What To Do If Your Child Has An Electric Shock

  • Switch off current before touching your child, to avoid getting a shock.
  • If this isn't possible, use a wooden chair or a broom to push him away from the cause of the shock.
  • Check that he is breathing and if you can feel his pulse.
  • If necessary, start mouth to mouth ventilation and chest compression.
