Latex

Latex teats are made from natural rubber, which is soft and pliable, which some babies prefer. They are more easily damaged so should be checked before use and after every feed and will need replacing more often.

Silicone

Silicone teats are made from medical grad 100% silicone, which is very durable and easy to keep clean. If punctured, the silicone may split, so to be safe they need to be checked before and after each feed.

Flow Speed

It is important to use the flow speed that suits the stage your baby has reached. Newborn or Slow-Flow has a single hole to control the flow at a safe rate for you new baby and encourage vigorous sucking. Medium-Flow provides a steady flow for babies with a faster sucking action. Fast-Flow has four holes and is for babies who suck more vigorously. VariFlow allows your baby's sucking action to control the rate of flow. You can change it to suit your baby or to vary the speed during the feed.
