Senses

* The colorful toys and beads in the transparent ring develop sight,
* The various materials and fabrics (such as the bird’s wings which are made from a different cloth than the body), hard plastic (the transparent rings) and soft plastic (the teethers on the whale’s head and those attached to the attachment pad) provide different sensations, developing the sense of touch.
* The various sounds made by the toys (the whistle from the whale’s flippers, the rattling sound made by shaking the beads and the different crinkly sounds made by the bird’s wings) stimulate hearing.
* As your baby reaches out, exploring and playing with the toys using her hands and mouth, she develops her senses and practices coordination between them.
Fine Motor Skills
* Each toy prompts different fine motor challenges and hand-eye coordination, and your baby must use her fingers and hand muscles in different ways.
* To hear the whistling from the whale’s flippers she must use force and press down with her fingers, but to shape the flexible tail she must use her hand, and to move the bottle holder’s beads from side to side along the track, she must use only a part of her fingers (pinch grip), thus developing her fine motor skills.
Cognition
